SteelFace™ Inductive Sensors

Balluff SteelFace™ inductive proximity sensors with extended range and solid stainless steel faces and enclosures, resist impact, providing long life in high impact zones.

Balluff SteelFace™ sensors are designed and built tough to survive longer in your most abusive applications. Machined from solid stainless steel bar stock, SteelFace sensors can extend life expectancy where blunt impact, abrasion, and erosion quickly bring standard sensors to their knees. Balluff SteelFace sensors are available in 1X standard range and 2X or 3X extended range, along with special variants like PTFE-coated housings to repel weld spatter, and ferrous- or non-ferrous-selective electronics to sense a variety of different metals.
BunkerBlock™ Significantly increase the life expectancy of sensors experiencing a high probability of impact and contact damage.
Prevent severe sensor faces impact damage, as well as to the sensor body with Balluff Bunker Blocks™ . Balluff Bunker Blocks are specifically designed to protect flush mounted inductive proximity sensors from side or frontal blows, and abrasion. The block also helps to insulate the sensor from local intermittent high heat.

Balluff Bunker Blocks™ provide inductive and photoelectric sensors an extraordinary degree of physical protection, preventing contact damage to the sensor body and face as well as rapid sensor removal and replacement without need for recalibration.

Pro-Rap™ self-fusing silicone wrap provides a new measure of protection and long life to sensors and associated control equipment when used in weld cells.
